| Socially responsible concierge services, staff projects, solidarity leave and exhibit... all forces are mobilised for the autumn of 2008. Partnerships in France and abroad have been bolstered. Employees are getting increasingly involved in favour of the destitute. SolidarCité sends out its fondest thoughts in a tribute to Soeur Emmanuelle, and her famous motto “Yalla, Let's go!”, whose spirit of dedication has brightened many an event of our association. | 3rd PPR Purchasing day of solidarity with the urban ecology work-based integration organisation Espaces |  Since June 2007, the PPR-Espaces partnership has been consolidated over several days of community work. For the third time on Friday October 24, some fifteen employees donated their time on the green-belt rehabilitation project carried out in Paris by the work-based integration association. This time the crews worked along the old ring-road in the 14th district to plant an open hedgerow along the 200-metre embankment. |

| Luxury and Solidarity: a socially responsible exhibit at Gucci Florence |  On September 10 and 11, Gucci opened the doors of its Casellina headquarters to La Ronda della Carità e della Solidarietà for an exhibit intended to publicise its action and encourage employees to become involved in the NGO. The Gucci staff discovered the display of leather goods produced by the La Ronda beneficiaries from materials and hides donated by Gucci. The NGO supervisor and the attending beneficiaries had a chance to discuss their volunteering needs: sales support, training in design, advice on leather work, etc. |

| SolidarCité , Conforama and Secours Populaire renew their partnership for the 3rd year in a row | | On September 30, Julien Lauprêtre, President of Secours Populaire Français, and Thierry Guibert, CEO of Conforama, signed an agreement to renew their partnership for the distribution of 70 kits throughout the French territory. For the third year in a row, the Conforama stores and the NGO's regional agencies will be combining their efforts to help economically deprived families gain some comfort at home. The €1,000 kits include furniture and household appliances (refrigerator, washing machine, oven, etc.), based on the needs of previously identified families. Since 2006, over 800 persons have benefited from this initiative. |

December: Fair Trade Christmas Market at Gucci Headquarters
The Gucci headquarters in Florence will host the Christmas Market of La Ronda della Solidarietà e della Carità who will be selling objects produced in their social integration crafts workshop, including jewellery, leather goods, lamps and many others.
